VISION is the world’s leading trade fair for machine vision. The 2022 edition was a 3-day event held in Stuttgart, Germany, between October 4, 2022 – October 6, 2022. There were over 300 exhibitors, and VICO was one of the leading exhibitors at the event. VICO displayed a number of innovative products in the machine vision industry.

Introduction to VISION 2022

VISION is the industry-leading trade fair for the International Machine Vision Industry. It is organized by Messe Stuttgart and has been held every two years since 1988 in Stuttgart, Germany, to highlight trends and advancements in the industry. The trade fair attracts top companies and innovative start-ups from across the globe.

The 30th edition of VISION, VISION 2022, was recently held on 4th -6th October 2022 and saw one of the highest participations in the trade show. A total of 378 exhibitors and 6,505 visitors from 60 countries were recorded, excluding the thousands that joined virtually from 18 countries. VICO was one of the exhibitors, displaying lenses from its top brand, COOLENS, at Booth 8A50 Hall 8.

Aside from the record attendance, VISION 2022 saw a significant increase in exhibitors and visitors from non-industrial sectors such as the agricultural industry, medical technology, transport and logistics, and aerospace engineering. About 55 percent of visitors revealed they were involved in procurement decisions in their organizations. 27 percent attended the fair intending to purchase or invest.

In addition to the VISION days, exhibitions, and lecture forums, other exciting features of VISION 2022 were the VISION Award 2022 and VISION Start-up World.
