In Japan, you may not have heard of VicoImaging before, but we’re still excited that we’ve participated in the International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment 2022 in Yokohama, Japan. This was our first time exhibiting at the show, and we showcased our latest launched products to the Japanese market.
About the International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment 2022 in Japan
The International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment in Yokohama, one of the largest machine vision exhibitions in Japan, was held in December 2022 to present the latest developments in areas such as robot vision, medical, security, 3-dimensions, deep learning, infrastructure improvement, precision measurement and online business meetings (newly installed) to exhibit and to introduce new image processing technologies.
This was a machine vision event with many machine vision buyers attending, therefore it was a good start for Vicoimaging to enter the Japanese market.
VicoImaging’s First Participation: Goals and Expectations
When VicoImaging decided to participate in the 2022 International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment Exhibition, our goals were twofold: to introduce our products to the Japanese market and to build relationships with potential Japanese customers.
We were not disappointed. Our booth was constantly busy, and we received a great deal of interest from buyers looking for imaging equipment that met their needs for projects.
Highlighting Quality Products at the Exhibition
Our official representative in Japan showcased some new products during the tradeshow. The front and the rear parts can be separated and reassembled. There are at least 260 matrix reassembling combinations supporting all types of sensor formats to suit your application needs.

The Response from Japanese Market Customers
You might be wondering how Japanese market customers responded to our products. The answer is, they were very impressed! Especially impressed by our 360° Hole Inspection Lenses.
We had a lot of people coming up to our booth to learn about our products and what we could offer them. They were very interested in our machine vision technology and professional vision products.
One of the things that really resonated with our Japanese customers was the fact that we offer custom solutions. We understand that every customer is different, and so we take the time to listen to their needs and create a solution that is perfect for them.This attention to detail and customer service is something that is very important in the Japanese market, and so we are confident that we will be able to build strong relationships with our Japanese customers.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it was a successful debut for VicoImaging at the 2022 International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment in Japan. Despite being a newcomer to the Japanese market and unknown to most Japanese customers, VicoImaging was able to generate interest from customers through the quality of its products on display. With VicoImaging’s strong products and service capabilities, we believe that it will be successful in the Japanese market in the future.
